POLICY OF PROCESSING AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA OF USERS

The Alex Yanovsky School of Management takes the issues of privacy and information security very seriously. Protecting the Personal Data of Users (hereinafter “you,” “your,” or “yours”) is one of our key priorities.
To ensure the protection of your Personal Data rights and freedoms, this Policy has been developed. It explains the principles, methods, and purposes of processing Personal Data and your options related to these Personal Data.
This Policy applies to all means through which we collect information. For example, we collect information during personal conversations and telephone calls.

Introduction
This Policy has been developed in accordance with the current legislation of the countries of the European Union, the United Mexican States, and the United States of America.
Definitions used in this Policy:
Applications (Questionnaires) - forms for collecting your Personal Data, posted on the Site and intended for completion and submission electronically through the Site. Applications are presented on the Site in the form of questionnaires containing prompt questions;
Button - a graphic element of the Site, highlighted in color and containing text in a contrasting color, indicating a software-related action that will be performed when clicked;
Cookie – these are text files placed on your computer (other device) when you visit the Site through a web browser. You can read more detailed information about Cookies here;
Processing of personal data – any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed by us using automated means or without the use of such means with Personal Data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, destruction of Personal Data;
Personal Data - any information relating to you directly or indirectly. Your Personal Data also refers to the information you provide to us when accessing the Site, Platform, Personal Account, during registration and/or authorization on the Site, Platform, and/or in the Personal Account, and using the Site, Platform, Personal Account, Service Packages, and filling out the Application. User of the information system – our employee who has been granted access to your Personal Data by us;
Site - a collection of texts, graphic elements, designs, images, software code, software, photo and video materials, and other results of our intellectual activity contained on the Internet;
Services - services provided by us to an unlimited number of people under the conditions outlined on the Site;
Personal Account - a page that is available to you after authorization on the Site, meaning after you have confirmed your identity and provided your Personal Data;
Platform - an information resource located at: https://alexyanovsky.com/, for the provision of our Services/Service Packages to Clients.
Client - this refers to you if you intend to purchase or have already purchased our Services or a Service Package.
Service Packages - this refers to a set of several Services that you intend to purchase or have already purchased from us.
The Internet - a global system of interconnected computer networks that uses the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to communicate between networks and devices.
Principles we adhere to when processing personal data
We are guided by the following principles when processing your Personal Data:
- Obtaining consent for data processing. We process your Personal Data only with your consent, which can be withdrawn by you at any time. Consent is considered obtained when you complete your registration on our Site after filling out the Application. Registration is considered complete after you click the "Register" button or similar, which is located under the last prompt question in the Application.
- Purpose-specific data processing. We limit the processing of your Personal Data to achieving specific, predefined, and lawful purposes. We do not use your data for other purposes incompatible with those for which they were collected.
- We process only the Personal Data necessary to achieve the stated purposes of processing.

- Data destruction. Your Personal Data will be destroyed after the purposes of their processing have been achieved or if there is no need for further use.

We do not verify the accuracy of the information about your Personal Data that you provide when filling out Applications on our Site. We also do not verify whether this Personal Data belongs directly to you; you provide it as your own. We assume that you provide us with your Personal Data in your own interest and do not intend to violate the rights and legitimate interests of others, our rights, or cause harm to them/us.
For the collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), and retrieval of your Personal Data, we use databases located in the USA. This may be necessary to ensure the effective processing of your data and the fulfillment of the stated purposes of processing.
We make efforts to ensure the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data and comply with all relevant rules and laws related to the protection of Personal Data. What information we receive from you
We collect various data about you and other users in accordance with the Policy and our objectives. This data may include Personal Information about users, as well as technical and other information related to their activities on our Site.
Technical information, such as Cookie files, helps us identify you and other users. Cookies are text files that we use to process data about how users interact with our Site, Platform, and Personal Account. For example, we can learn which pages were visited, how much time you or another user spent on a page, or which services were ordered. We use third-party software for determining user location (maxmind.com), web analytics (Google Analytics), and mutual business analytics (Roistat) to obtain additional information about user interactions with our services.
The collection of anonymous data using third-party software is determined by the owners of this software. We do not control this process and have no direct influence on the composition and conditions of collecting such anonymous data.
We process Personal Data, technical information, and other information of Clients during the entire term of the agreement concluded between them and us. For other users who are not Clients, the processing of their Personal Data takes place during the entire period of using our Site and other resources.
When using our Site, Platform, and/or Personal Account, third-party software may be used. As a result of such use, your data may be provided and transmitted to third parties in an anonymous form. This means that the transmitted data cannot be used to identify specific individuals and remains anonymous.
What we do with your personal data
The processing of your personal data includes actions such as recording, systematizing, accumulating, storing, clarifying (updating, modifying), extracting, using, transferring (distributing, providing access), anonymizing, blocking, deleting, and destroying your Personal Data. This concerns the data for which we need to obtain your written consent for processing.
This means that we take various measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data, including applying appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We comply with all necessary requirements for personal data processing established by current legislation. This data may be transferred to third parties within the scope of our agreement with you (if you are a Client) or to implement partner programs with such third parties, even if such data transfer occurs outside the USA, Mexico, or the European Union (the location of personal data storage), to other countries (cross-border transfer).
We process your Personal Data using both automated and non-automated means.
Please note that your Personal Data is processed by us in the USA, to which you consent.
In our information systems, personal data of the following categories of subjects are processed:
- our employees;
- our Clients;
- contractors, subcontractors, and other third parties who provide services and/or perform work on our behalf;
- participants in the events we conduct;
- subscribers to our information newsletters;
- informational partners, invited guests, and hosts of the events we conduct.
This Policy applies to all processes related to the processing of personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, extraction, use, transfer, anonymization, blocking, deletion, and destruction of data. These processes can be carried out both using automation tools and without them.
By using our Site and GetCourse Platform, as well as other resources we provide, you unconditionally agree with our Policy and the terms of Personal Data processing. You can also express your consent to this Policy by subscribing to our newsletters or providing us with written consent for the processing of personal data.
Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 in the European Union countries (depending on jurisdiction) and Mexico, or 16 in the USA according to local legislation. We do not collect information from such individuals. If you have not reached the specified age, you should not provide us with any personal information on the Site or through it.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. If we inadvertently receive personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will immediately delete this information.

We do not verify the accuracy of the Personal Data you provide or your legal capacity.
Here is a list of your Personal Data that we process:
- Surname, first name, and patronymic;
- Email address;
- Contact phone number;
- Messaging accounts;
- Links to social media profiles (pages);
- Your image (photograph);
- Additional information that you provide to us through the Site, Platform, Application-Form, Personal Account, as well as during the provision of Services within the Service Packages.
This information allows us to contact you, provide you with our services, improve the quality of service, and meet your needs. We process this information in compliance with applicable personal data protection laws and with your consent, where necessary. We always strive to ensure the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data and to use it only within the purposes defined in this Policy.
Our rights regarding the Personal Data you provide
We have the right to conduct statistical and research work based on your anonymized Personal Data. We may also provide access to these studies to third parties for targeted advertising purposes. By submitting an Application on the Site, registering on the Platform, or creating a Personal Account, you consent to the transfer, processing, storage, and other operations with your Personal Data, including such studies and receiving targeted advertising. We have the right to provide information about you to law enforcement agencies or other government bodies within the framework of a judicial process or investigation based on a court order, enforceable request, or within the framework of cooperation in accordance with applicable law.

We retain your Personal Data only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of Personal Data Processing. The retention period for Personal Data may be set by law or provided by your consent given to us. After the expiration of the retention periods, your Personal Data will be destroyed or anonymized.
In accordance with the purposes of processing and legal requirements, we may transfer Personal Data to the following categories of third parties:
- to our subsidiaries and companies within our group of companies;
- to our external contractors and companies with whom we have contracts;
- to government and other bodies as required by law.
The transfer of Personal Data to foreign countries that do not provide an adequate level of protection for your rights (countries that have not signed the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data ETS No. 108) can only be carried out with your consent and/or to fulfill a contract and/or in accordance with legal requirements.
For the transfer of Personal Data obtained from the European Union to third parties in countries that do not provide an adequate level of protection of Personal Data according to the GDPR, contracts containing "Standard Contractual Clauses" (SCC) adopted by the European Commission or authorized body and approved by the European Commission are concluded with relevant third parties to ensure your rights and freedoms.
To obtain information about the list of third parties to whom your Personal Data is transferred and copies of the standard contractual clauses used in such contracts, you should contact us. We are obliged to provide you with this information upon your request.
Your rights regarding the Personal Data provided to us
Please familiarize yourself with the following rights:
- When you post information about yourself on our Site, Platform, in the Application (Form) or in the Personal Account, you can make it publicly available. When we start processing your personal data. The term of your consent to the processing of Personal Data
We start processing your Personal Data immediately upon receiving your consent. This processing continues until the term of your consent expires or you withdraw it.
The term of your consent to the Processing of Personal Data is indefinite and begins from the moment we receive your consent upon filling out the Application on the Site or otherwise.
If you decide to withdraw your consent to the processing of Personal Data, you can do so at any time. To do this, you need to send a personal request to our address info@alexyanovsy.info. You may need to confirm that you control the email address associated with your Personal Data and confirm that you are indeed interacting with us. CalOPPA (California Online Privacy Protection Act) is a law that requires us to publish this Policy on our Website.
We do not support the "Do Not Track" ("DNT") feature, which allows the user to set a preference in their web browser to not be tracked online by third parties, including Internet services.

You will have 10 days to respond to our additional request, starting from the day following its receipt. If you do not respond within this period, your request will be considered not received. We will provide a response by email within 20 days of receiving your request or additional information, if applicable. We will fulfill your request within 15 days of receiving all necessary documents.
You have the right to revoke your consent to the Processing of personal data if we process your data based on your consent. Resolution of Conflicts
In case of an agreement between us and you containing provisions regarding the use of your Personal Data, the provisions of the Policy and this agreement apply to the extent that they do not contradict the Policy.
